How delightful! It is just like the Tamaranean festival of Gloc'Rol! It is a joyous celebration where small children practice their ability to maneuver while airborne and catch delicious treats!

I do not believe the bubbles are to eat. You seem to be enjoying them though.

The fact that paint is not an edible substance aside, you are unaware of what other substances might be mixed with it, a potent poison that causes bleeding from every orifice and results in unavoidable death being an example.

Not in the same way you are. I was out playing earlier and got covered in the paint, but I didn't eat any of it. Paint isn't supposed to be eaten. It's toxic stuff.
