"Public Enemy"? But that sounds like it's about ruffians and thugs?

[He laughs]

It is! About two bootlegger guys, but I forget their names. And some woman who gets a grapefruit shoved in her face, but I don't think she's that important. It came out in '31 so I haven't seen it in a while. From what I remember it was pretty good, though.

'Bootlegger' guys? [Grapefruit shoved in a women's face? What did he mean by '31? Was that the year it had came out?]

Oh, well, alcohol's illegal back home-for now- so some people'll make it themselves and sell it. They're called bootleggers.

Why was it illegal?

...Honestly, I have no idea. Apparently some people had been clamorin' for it for awhile and then it became a law somehow. I don't really remember what happened exactly, it all happened a while ago. But they're on their way ta' gettin' rid of it.

Well, perhaps. It might be better to just say...let them have one or two drinks?

...I guess that's not as bad, but c'mon, some of us can actually hold our alcohol.

Funny thing is, now since people hafta be a little sneaky about drinkin' they go overboard and it seems like we have more drunks than ever.

Exactly. They keep pickin' up bodies from people who've either drunk too much, or drunk alcohol with poison in it.

But people are workin' ta' get rid a' the law this year, so maybe things'll get normal again. Of course it doesn't really help some businesses any.

Thanks! I'm sure it will. Maiza'll find a way ta' compensate for any losses.
