[ Somebody is flying around the Golden District today. Somebody also had the brilliant idea to wish for the powers as that of Superman-- permanently. That's right.
America didn't wish for all of Superman's powers; he would like to get a good grasp on a few at a time-- and boy, flight is hard enough as it is.

[an overly-enthusiastic flying teenager getting in to mischief? Why, that's Tinker Bell's favourite!]

[the little fairy tears after the figure as he crosses the skies but only finally manages to catch up with him after he crash-lands on the grass. Seemingly oblivious to both his odd costume and his agonised groaning, she neatly lands on his chest and peers in to his pained face with an intently curious expression]

Oh! You fly very fast, don't you? Wherever did you learn to fly like that?

What was this thing, really? It looked like some giant bug.
America took in a gasp and was about to clap his hand OVER it to kill it--
Which by the way would have been hilarious and not the first time he's squished a fairy. (really, it looked like England wanted a high five! How was he supposed to know there was a fairy sitting on it?)

Needless to say, he's never seen a fairy before, so when I speaks to him, he flips a shit.

Have one American making an ear shattering shriek and batting madly at this fairy.

Because it's obviously a brain sucking alien bug. Fairies don't exist. ]

[America shrieks, Tinker Bell shrieks, there is so much shrieking]

[she leaps away at the last minute and only just manages to dodge the batting hand as she zig-zags away in a streak of bright light and fairy dust. She comes to an indignant stop a few feet away, hands on hips and wings beating furiously as she screams at him in reply:]

Oh, how rude! What's wrong with you?!

[ He takes in a DEEP BREATH as he stares at this-- flying thing. ]

[ America wobbles to his feet and slides his hands to his hips, soon waving a hand in his direction. ]

[ A triumphant pose, then he wobbles a little. threatening to fall. ]

and then, slowly, his posture shifts and he settles on his knees, straight-back and upright, head tilted to a side.

[ America turned around to see somebody else in the room and jumped a little before lifting his hand to his nose and rubbing at it slightly. ]
I already said! I'm the hero, of course!
That's all that really is important!

Besides the fact my name is America.

And I'll be responsible for sending us home!

[ America glances up, noticing a very, uhm, unique looking thing talking to him. His reaction is rather simple, eyes growing wide as he slowly sits up and adjusts his glasses. ]

[ Star witnessed the spectacular crash while flying herself, and lands next to America, applauding and smiling brightly. She also seems completely unfazed by his outfit. ]

That was a most excellent attempt at flight. Please tell me, were you also picturing the unbridled joy of escaping gravity at the time?

[ America sputters and peeks out from under his cape which seemed to have flopped over his head from his crash. ]

Excellent attempt!? I, hah-- oh-- uh..

[ He grins and pushes himself up slowly, wobbling slightly. ]

[ She's teehee'ing, and offers him a hand. ]

Maneuvering can be difficult when one is not used to it.

[ America pulls himself to his feet and wobbles, holding his head. ]

I totally just wished for this ability this morning but-- I can handle it! I'm a hero and everything so I can DO THIS.
