[ He laughs, and then looks at Pikachu, who's sitting beside him. ] Who, Pikachu?

He's my partner, and an electric-type Pokémon! [ As soon as he says the words 'electric-type', Pikachu's red cheeks start sparking, as if on cue. ]

I know not everyone knows about them, but it's kinda hard to explain what Pokémon are, exactly. I guess it's easier to say that they're creatures with special abilities, like Pikachu's Thunderbolt and Iron Tail.

I won't give up! All the others managed to leave. I may not know how, but I'll find out. [ and he grins. ]

Yeah, it's a Pokémon - but it's not an alien.

And even if I do remember it and regret it in the end - it's still my memory. It's a part of me, and I don't want to forget it. It's just too sad to forget something important.
