If I might have your attentions, please.

For everyone's convenience, I've completed a guide which will hopefully summarize all key and important facts relating to the wishing system in the city. Included are all the results attained through the various tests I've been preforming, as well as examples.

You're welcome. I hope it proves useful, particularly to new arrivals.

Considering that is usually the first question anyone has and the one most are skeptical about, I am sure it will be useful.

I have not done much with the wishes myself so I cannot help further your analysis.

That's all right. Hearing that it's helpful is helpful in itself.

[Sad little birdy noise!]

I... hmm. Kid, would you help me?

You say these are important things, but I cannot read them to know, I'm sorry.

[He can read, a little bit, but his vocabulary is also of a much lower level than what Kid has used... He could sit here and just get flustered, or he could ask for help.]

[ oh. chagrined. Kid hadn't anticipated that ]

I apologize, I should've made the format available in more than one format. Would it help if I recorded it verbally as well?

The point I was trying to make is that a misspoken wish could become permanent, and so taking extra precaution is wise.

Nice work, my man. Is your research still ongoing? I'd like to see if there are any side effects to the environment and flow of things. Other than the obvious, like wishing to change a part of the environment.

I plan to try another experiment in the near future, yes. Its results will be added accordingly.

Do you need any help with your future experiment? If so, I'm your man.

I have always asked for volunteers to help, yes. May I have your name, for once its format is decided?

[Thanks for doing all his work for him, Kid!]

Hn. So the wishes only go that far, then.

[ see you could've just asked :P ]

Like all things, it's a system of checks and balances. It's a relief, actually.

To find that there is some semblance of internal logic? I suppose that is a bit reassuring.
