[ It's the middle of the night, and someone's not sleeping. But there are light footsteps on the rooftops, and a whisper of black cloth trailing just along the edge of your window as someone's checking up on you. Why tonight? You might have to ask, or guess. ]

The truth is that after his best friend - Spada left so suddenly, Ruca started to feel even more homesick than usual.
As he thinks about home again, his gaze wanders to the window and...]

[Noticing the dark figure outside the window, makes him jump... which causes the thick book he was reading to fall on the floor with a loud thud.
It is quite a relief he’s living in such a big castle... because if he wasn’t, the noise might wake someone up.]

I didn't mean to startle you.

[He walks up to the window.]
Ah, n-no, it's... okay.
[He opens the window.]
Um, come... in?

Forgive me for disturbing you so late.

It's fine... really.
[As Kid is inside, Ruca closes the window, then turns to Kid again.]
Um... would you like some tea...?

[He smiles, but if someone’s awkward here, then it would be definitely Ruca.]
Could you... wait here a moment then? I'll be back in a moment with the tea.
[And with this, he's gone, leaving Kid in the this rather ordinary room.

[ Kid leans down and picks up the dropped book, and sets it on the desk.
Then he adjusts its position slightly.
And then again.

Kid?
[...Ah, but Ruca should know better by now... right?
But there are a lot of books in this room... and he's starting to wonder if Kid will decide to put them all in order.]

Yes?

I just... brought some tea.

[ telling Kid to stop usually doesn't have much effect anyway ]
You've amassed quite a collection in here. You should build some shelves to keep them properly organized. Or I can build you some, if you'd like?

Thank you. [He smiles softly.] Having some bookshelves would be nice, but... [a distant look.] ...Spada would probably say that this room is starting to look like a library.
[He says this, as he remembers his best friend’s dislike towards books. His best friend and former roommate...
It still is a hard thing to get used to, when someone like Spada leaves so suddenly.]
