Do you know an easy way to lock the whole LJ instead of individually locking by the way?

Thanks! I made it myself. :) I'm actually going to make another Lost in Translation banner to fit the pink mood of my journal right now though.

And yeah... I do... I just happened to find it somewhere. Grr. I can get you the link in a bit if you would like. I think that it might be in the FAQ.

Ah well it involved a whole lot of silly tricks I learned from tutorials for Paint Shop Pro -- like grayscaling it and then colorizing, then dropping layers to 2-shades black and white then polarizing them (I could very well be making this terminology up because I'm really not all that good at it), then motion blurring the top layer and setting the opacity at 70% and using a dodge filter.

In other words -- lots of random crap that is simply procrastination and nothing more. I wouldn't make my journal friends only but the banners are just so fun to make, dammit.

don't be so quick to take credit for the term 'polarize'. i'm well-versed in the realm of filters, you can't slip it past me. either way, it looks very cool.

Hah. I'm not saying I made up the word, only that I was probably using it incorrectly. In any case, I'm still a novice when it comes to making these things... I've just had good tutorials and such.

Aw thank you. Yeah I figured it was a great combination myself. I'm pretty pleased with how the whole thing meshed.
