Last night when I called my folks, my dad picked up the phone, and after asking him about his day, he said, "Your mother got a haircut today, and she's wearing jeans so tight that I had to help her into them. I think I might have to take her out to dinner tonight because she looks HOT

Many cool people come from cool parents and aren't afraid to admit that, so I definitely know what you mean.

I tend to stop listening to adults who blame their parents for everything wrong in their lives. I mean, you're a grown up, own it, ya know?

It's not hard to love on my parents...they are very cool people. They have their problems, and I have had my problems with them, but at the end of the day, they are both funny and brilliant and interesting and cool.
