I got another tattoo on Friday: "veri et recti amici" in picture font. I love it and will definitely be going back to the artist (Jeremy from Deep Roots), but it's very sore and scabby right now. I'll post pictures when it's more healed

I understand you on the spirituality, that's one of the reasons why I've more or less moved away from the Unitarian church, it was, in many ways, a lot less tolerant and open minded of spiritual development than I once felt. Anyway, my new stance is that it should be undertaken as a gradual, and intensely personal/internal process. I feel that in naming or discussing my spirituality I feel much less in touch with it. By trying to ground in a common perception and reality what is fundamentally an abstraction that, in order to function, must remain mystified, is to me counter-intuitive.
But honestly I believe people should (critically) embrace whatever they find most sublime to them.
