Interesting. I definitely know about third world racism/classism and the contradictions that arise from that (the Philippines is especially bad because, as a society, they refuse to acknowledge any particular kinds of racism or racial-based privileging). I thought that Brazil, with a long history of racial mingling, was more tolerant, but I guess stupid people are everywhere.
