Fucking GC105

My community service class is going to stress the Hell out of me.  It's the equivalent of  a freshmen unwittingly stumbling into AP physics or Calculus.  The teachers sit there asking me about my leadership experience and what skills I have....uh, I can eat food really fast without throwing up ( Read more... )

Hmm... we might have to have a little talk with them. Well, now you know how I'll feel probably all year in Advanced, seeing as how you guys are all experienced with tools and my experiences all lie in the realm of painting. But, we'll figure something about about GC 105. What is it that you need help with?

It's not definite. You know me, freaking out over the small stuff. Once I get my hands on a log sheet, figure out what exactly heading a comittee entails, and if I'm responsible for attaching myself to certain things or if the teachers will give us outreach assignments, I'm sure I'll be fine.

Don't worry about Advanced. As of now, you probably know more in the area of layman's terms than most of us. I still call a Phillips head a square head, for God's sake! Just try to avoid any Three Stooges moments (like when SAM swung a 2 by 4 and smacked me across the back of the head) and you'll be fine. There's nothing to it, promise.

They make heading a committee harder than it sounds, it's not that bad. If they haven't put anyone in charge of recycling, do that, because it's cake. Matt did it last year but never really organized it and pissed off Mac and Allen, so if you were in charge I'd help you come up with a really organized schedule and you'd get on their good side. Log sheets are absolutely nothing, they're the easiest things in the world, at least it was for me last year when I stayed in their class all the time. And they probably will end up having people stay, because otherwise they wouldn't have anyone to do publicity for things like Extra Mile meetings, Blood Drive, and all the other things they do.

Sweet. I feel much better. I can already tell it's going to be an all consuming class once I find my stride and get really, really into it. When do should start volunteering outside of class? And am I responsible for making up and posting the smaller projects or do they do that?

Thanks. This is one of those times I wish we went to school together. I could force you into the class with me, and have some one I know there. Poo.

Ooooh. I like the way you think! One at your school or one at mine? One at both? I decided to be more involved, make high school memories...we'll take pictures! And paint our faces and everything. Yes!
