Kishimoto's development of female characters has disappointed me more and more as the series progresses. He sure sets women back a few decades.

Normally I'm not one to do gender studies in my manga, but seriously, sometimes Kishimoto is ridiculous. Hinata, and maybe Sakura, have been filed under "romantic interest" without any other regard to their characters, Ino has become pathetic, and well. Tenten is tenten
