It's all so big!

Apr 19, 2009 00:02

Springer wasn't exactly sure what to make of everything when he onlined.  One minute he'd been helping Hot Rod practice, the next... he was in the Ark.  And something wasn't right!
Explosions, shouting, mechs running.  And he was stuck in a fragging supply room.  A very large supply room.  A very large supply room where the controls for the door ( Read more... )

((OOC: Don't be intimidated. And welcome and big huggles to you.))

*Bluestreak hurried down the corridor, rifle at hand, still nervous after the attack of the drone, being flung apparently back in time or into another universe or whatever had happened to him, and hyperalert for any other threats.

*As he passed the supply closet door, the small knocking sound stopped him in his tracks. He swung his rifle up and his doorwings flattened against his back as he listened for a repeat of the sound.

*A very tiny whimper came from behind the door and he crept up to it, listening carefully. Rifle ready, he hit the keypad and opened the door. The door slid open but he didn't see anything.*

As the door slid open, Springer toppled backwards. He found himself staring up at Bluestreak. A very very large Bluestreak.

He couldn't help it. He whimpered again.

*Bluestreak looked around carefully, not even thinking to look down and thought he was in an unoccupied supply closet.

*The whimper and sound of something falling startled him and he swung his rifle down and pointed it at...

*A sparkling?

*He jerked the rifle up and jumped back and then really looked at the tiny green mech.*

Primus... *His vision blurred momentarily as the shock almost sent what calmness he'd been able to find tumbling away.* Springer?

Springer climbed to his feet, promptly toppling over and landing on his aft. He peered up at Bluestreak. He knew him. They knew each other. But why was Bluestreak so much bigger?

"Bluestweak?" He asked, his voice still sounding strange to his own audios and why the frag couldn't he pronouce the gunner's name properly?

*Hound reluctantly headed toward the command center, not really wanting to leave the group.

*Like the rest of the Ark, the room was empty. It felt a bit creepy in the huge, dim room with just a few lights from Teletran blinking and casting weird shadows everywhere.

*He headed to the console that Wheeljack had installed for the humans to use and tried to enter his password. For a moment it looked like it'd been rejected but then the screen lit and the computer appeared to be ready.

*He entered a search and waited. And waited. Nothing was happening. He sat back and scratched his head. Was there even an outside connection? He didn't have any idea how to tell.*

((OOC: Going to continue this tomorrow. Iz sleepy.))

*Teletran seemed to working. He vaguely remembered Blaster saying something about Skyspy but not what he actually said. He checked the Sky Spy display and immediately realized what Blaster had been talking about. Sky Spy was gone. He checked for the local radio and tv transmissions and was stunned to find them missing as well. Teletran was open to receive, there just wasn't anything being broadcast.

*Even the phone line out was dead.

*That meant there probably wasn't a vet and even if there was, there was no way to contact one.

*He hit the comm link to Ratchet.*

[Ratchet, this is Hound. I'm afraid we're on our own. I'll explain when I get back to the medbay.]

[On my way. Nothing I can do here anyway. Hound out.]

*Hound left the command center and ran back towards the medbay in search of Pinch and Springer.

*He found them walking slowly down the corridor about halfway to the medbay.*

Ah, I was afraid you'd gotten lost.

*Pinch jumped at the sudden appearance of the human. They walked around way too quietly on those soft squishy feet.*

No, we're fine.
