Sean Keegan was a friend of mine, which was one of the sex workers you had mentioned who were murdered in 1996 (I am assuming you are referring to the Victoria day murders, where 3 sex workers were slaughtered by the piece of shit Marcello Palma).

Sean and the other sex workers were killed because Palma had the exact same sentiments that these NIMBYs do. Cassandra Do was also murdered not too far away (she was an indoor girl).

This cannot be said too many times:

NIMBYs are the blight on society, NOT sex workers.

Hey Rebecca, thanks so much for helping me out, I am so sorry that you are being abused like this. I've alerted the SVU about our attendance and they've assured our safety. This fuckers aren't just homeowners their nazi's. I've already met 5 trans women who have been abused by these people and the worst thing is that they were all youths (under 25). I'm so glad your joining me and I'm so glad we're taking back our streets.

I find that your immediate arguement of property values to be flawed. You moved onto Homewood on your own volition, knowing the risks. The fact that you put it as your first arguement is a sad fact of life. When you present arguements like that, you really do appear to be a capitalist (and somewhat classist) bastard.

Yes, you are right, I don't live on Homewood. I've lived at Queen and Broadview for five years now, and it has its share of drugs and sex. Living between two flop-houses and a strip club does bring that elements to a neighbourhood. I knew this was the environment when I was moving here, I didn't mind. If I did, I wouldn't have moved here.
