you seem to have a good reason: the guy she'll be hanging all over all night is someone you can't stand (to be gentle) and that's an excellent reason not to want to go.

You know she called me, and you know I don't want to go mainly because she'd be the only one I know there and none of my other friends are going (and as much as I have heard about Dan, I don't need to be dragged into it).

Long story short? He was/is convinced that I'm madly in love with Ally, and one day I posted something to her on facebook and he flipped out and basically called me a jealous bitch and told me to fuck off and leave them both alone. (A. I've known Ally far longer than he has, B. I introduced him to Ally, and C. I introduced him to most of the people he hung out with for the better part of three years)
