There is a whole bunch of those either one step ahead of me or one behind. I like a lot of them but I'm not in nostalgic love with them.

Since decoupling personal preference much from the mainstream circus, for me it's more a thing of if a song is good or not, much less then when it's from.
Well, got quite a bit of 20 years old stuff in there, I need to admit, and I also find the overall creativity has made a decline since the 90s and early years after 2000, but still, each song can do his own job well in the way it suits its time created and time listened to by me.
Some stuff, I discover, it's differently made than in another time episode, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's bad by its origin. Just... different.
And memories and life circumstances do search for the structures that suit them all by themselves, no matter if they attach to a 20-year-old song or a 5-years-old one.
