Zach's eye is very sore. He keeps on crawling under my bed and he won't settle. It's very swollen and I think his vision may be a little wonky. :( He's not happy at all.

I hope that this cream stuff I have to put in his eye does it's job quickly. He hasn't been this subdued since I first brought him home, and even then he wasn't this bad.

When I got up this morning, I noticed that Zach was winking a little.  His left eye was slightly squinty.  I figured it was probably minor as he didn't seem to be uncomfortable at all, so I decided to just keep an eye on it.  At around 8.00 this evening it wasn't any worse than it was this morning.  At 8.30 he jumped up on me and started rubbing ( Read more... )

So it turns out that having a fight with my mum is good for my study habits in a bad way. "Huh?" you say? Maybe having suffered many panic attacks over the years could turn out to have been a good thing. I had a student come into his lesson today and start tearing up straight away. When I asked him what was the matter, he started hyperventilating and couldn't get any words out. I talked him through a breathing exercise which helped him to calm down ( Read more... )

My second biggest problem student's mum cancelled her lessons effective immediately because she needs to focus on her class work. Evidently she's a problem in general, not just for me. :)
