Summary: Castiel is left baffled and bewildered after Dean falls foul of a sorcerer.
Castiel looked on in concern as Dean's expression went through a rapid mix of changes: from puzzlement, through to alarm, before settling on sheer horror.
"It's gone," Dean cried repeatedly in an uncharacteristically high voice, as he started patting himself down with visible, increasing panic.
Castiel frowned. "That sorcerer took something from you?"
"Yeah," cried Dean in a shaky voice. "Before he left, he shook my hand and I felt a shock, then it was gone."
"Something important?" asked Castiel, still confused.
"Let's just say, I wouldn't want to be without it," babbled Dean, near hysteria. "You're an angel, you wouldn't understand."
"Well, he doesn't have real magic, more like mental suggestions he uses on the unsuspecting." And gullible, he added silently. "They won't work on me, I could check for whatever it is," offered Castiel.
Dean looked almost tempted. "I think I oughta take a pass," he giggled nervously.
