Summary: Attempting to stage a comeback into the acting scene, Jensen Ackles grudgingly agrees to a hokey contest - and a subsequent date with a fan. Turns out the winning fan isn’t a fan at all, Aubrey Carter having no idea who Jensen Ackles even is.
When it comes to dating, brief flings for easy sex and PR points had long been Jensen’s approach, Aubrey opting for avoidance altogether.
Is their publicity stunt of a date doomed to be a disaster? Or fated to be the beginning of a "Happily Ever After" fairy tale?
Notes: I may've gone a wee-bit "Note Happy" with this one. While, IMO, they are pertinent, I'll spare posting the bulk of them here and leave folks to read them on my LJ or AO3.
I will say this here: I know Het is like the red-headed step-child of fandom. I do. Myself even, I almost never read it. Writing Het is going back to my roots here in fandom though, and I kinda love revisiting it now and again. I realize it won't get many readers, I'm okay with that. However, those of you who do give it a chance...TY!!! ♥
