FAQs:
- How many prompts/wishes can I leave?
As many as you want! We ask only that each comment you leave include no more than 5 wishes/prompts. But you can leave as many comments as you like. For instance, maybe there are 15 things you want to wish for. You can decide to leave 3 comments with 5 wishes each, or you can leave 15 different comments (with one wish in each comment). We allow this flexibility in case you want to come back and leave more wishes if you think of something else down the line.
If I leave my own prompts, do I have to fill a prompt as well?
If you leave prompts, we do not require that you answer any prompts, but in the spirit of the community it would be great if you tried to grant a wish!
You can grant as many wishes as you like! Multiple fills for a single wish are more than welcome, however, we do ask that you try and fill a prompt for someone who doesn't have anything yet, just so everyone gets something.
What can I wish for?
Anything as long as it's Dean-centric. You can wish and prompt for a mixture of different types of fanwork, as long as it is something that someone can feasibly make for you.
Can I wish for things that are pairing-based?
Yes! As long as the fanwork is Dean-centric in some way. For instance, a Dean/Bela fanfic is fine as long as Dean is a central part of the fic.
What about crossovers?
We welcome those! You want a Supernatural fusion with Buffy the Vampire Slayer where Dean and Spike play pool at a bar? That's fine. You want a Misha/Dean fic about a roadtrip they take to Burning Man? Sounds great!
Can I post something I've made in the past that meets the person's request?
Unfortunately, no. We ask that you create something NEW when you fill a prompt.
Can I post a WIP?
Sorry, no! All fics/mixes/videos/art must be complete.
Are there word count minimum/maximum requirements on what I make?
Not at all! We don't have a word count min/max on fic nor do we require you to make a certain amount of icons or artwork to fill a prompt. Simply try to fill the person's wish as best you can. If someone asks for a fic but doesn't ask for any specific length, that means you are free to craft a drabble, ficlet, or even a novella-length work that meets the prompt. But if they give you parameters to work with, try to meet those. For instance, if they ask for 10 icons, do your best to meet that request.
When can I start posting fanwork?
You can post your completed fanwork to the community anytime after June 20th, but the final deadline for posting all completed fanwork is September 15th.
The deadline for making wishes is August 5th. After this date no more requests can be made. But you will be able to reply to a comment to let a person know you are filling their prompt and answer prompts up until the September 15th deadline.
What if I can't fulfill my wish?
We ask that you please do your best to make something once you've offered, but we understand that sometimes life doesn't allow us to finish things. If you need to drop out for any reason, just comment to this post and let us know.
