Summary: quickreaver requested a fic where young Sam and Dean meet up with their future selves. In my story Future Sam and Dean are cursed and end up back in time and run into twelve year old Sam and sixteen year old Dean.

Sam sat across from his older brother watching him as he scarfed down his cheeseburger. It was disgusting to watch yet at the same time Sam couldn't look away. Dean was busy trying to get the waitresses attention. He'd been flirting with her since the moment they stepped into the diner. Sam hated the way his brother flirted with girls, ever since Dean had turned sixteen he didn't seem to really care about much more than hunting, Sam and girls; in no particular order.

Sam slowly picked at his food while worrying about his father. John was supposed to meet up with them at the hotel this morning but it was now after six and they hadn't heard a word from him. Dean had told him not to worry but he couldn't help it, his dad had gone after some ugly monster; and once again refused to tell the boys any details about what he was hunting.

Sam's imagination had been running wild all day with all the possibilities of what could have happened to their father to make him late. He had only known about the supernatural for a few years now and while both his dad and Dean claimed that they had things under control and that he shouldn't worry so much; he just naturally worried. Dean had finally had enough of Sammy's moping around and they ventured out of the motel to get some dinner.

Dean was still busy with a mouthful of cheeseburger when Sam heard the bell above the diner door ring. He looked over to see two men enter. The sun from the outside blocked his view of the men; he could only see the outline. Both men were tall but the second one to enter was way taller. Sam couldn't take his eyes off of them as they walked towards a table in the back. He watched as the waitress approached them and asked for their order.

He heard the taller man order a salad and then the other man ordered a double cheeseburger with bacon and extra onions. Sam did a double take as he heard the shorter one flirt with the waitress using the same stupid lame line that his brother had used. He was about to say something to Dean but just as he was about to open his mouth Dean excused himself to the bathroom.

Sam eased himself closer to the two men to see if he could hear more of their conversation.

The shorter one was saying “Come on; you can't blame me for this. This whole situation is messed up but it's not my fault.”

“Right it's not your fault that you made fun of the powerful witch and its not your fault that you taunted her until she cast that stupid spell and now look where we are. We are in the middle of something serious and now boom we're stuck here twiddling our thumbs trying to find a way back.”

“How was I to know that that stupid bitch was so powerful. I've said it before and I'll say it again I hate witches.”

“Yeah; that's ever so helpful.” the taller one said rolling his eyes.

“Shut up.”

“No you shut up, jerk.”

“Whatever, Bitch.”

Sam slowly looked at the two men; they looked familiar and the conversation they were having was just to weird. He wanted to say something to them but before he could Dean grabbed him and manhandled him out of the diner saying that dad had just called and that he was almost to the hotel. Both boys took of running towards the hotel knowing that they could be in trouble if their father found out that they had left the hotel even after they were specifically told to stay in their room.

Sam was happy to have his dad back and was glad that he was okay. Even though the two of them didn't really get along so much lately it always made Sam feel better when his father was home. John was tired and asked the two boys to keep it down while he caught some shut eye. Dean asked if he could go out for awhile and John said it was fine as long as he stayed out of trouble. Sam asked if he could go out to but John said no.

So Dean left and John laid down and Sam sat in a chair reading a book, then he got bored and decided to turn on the TV. He only watched about five minutes before John rolled over and grumbled at him to turn it off. Sam whined saying there was nothing to do. So John gave him permission to go sit outside in the motel “play area”.

Sammy rolled his eyes as he stomped out of the room. The Play area was a little patch of grass with some sand and a tiny plastic slide and a picnic table. Sam sat at the picnic reading for a little bit and then it started to rain; he didn't feel like going back into the room so he climbed under the stupid slide and continued reading.

He lost track of time but was drawn back to reality when he thought he heard the throaty rumble of his fathers beloved Impala. He looked up to see that the family car was still parked in front of their room. Sam went back to reading for a minute before his attention was drawn back to reality once again when he heard two familiar voices. He dropped his book in the sand and climbed out from under the slide and followed the voices to a room a few doors down from his own.

The curtains were open wide enough for him to get a peek inside. He could see the two men from the diner; the tall one was sitting at the table flipping through a book and the shorter one was lounging on one of the beds watching TV. They were arguing about something. Sam couldn't really hear what they were saying but he could tell that they were arguing- he could see both men rolling their eyes at one another.

Sammy leaned in closer to see if he could hear what they were saying; when his right foot slipped slightly and banged against the side of the room. Both men looked up towards the window but Sammy was fast and neither men saw him. Sam squeezed himself against the wall so they wouldn't see him if they looked out the window. When he was sure that no one was looking, he slowly stood up and headed back towards his room.

Sam let out a small squeak when he was grabbed and pulled into the hotel room of the two men he had been spying on. The taller man had him by the scruff of his neck. The door slammed behind him and he found a gun pointed at his head. “Who are you and what are you doing spying on us?”

Before Sammy even had time to register what happened the shorter man got up and put his hands on top of the taller ones. “Sammy man calm down. Your gonna scare the kid.” then the short man looked down at him. “Holy shit!”

Sam was scared by the level of volume that the man yelled with. “What's the matter, Dean?”

“Sam, Dean?” Sammy stuttered.

“Holy shit, it's you isn't it?” Dean said getting closer to him

“Who is he Dean? Whats the matter with you?”

“He's you?”

“ME?”

“Yeah, look at him.” both men turned to look at Sam and Sam just stared back.

“Your name is Sam Winchester isn't it?” The shorter man asked.

“How do you know my name?” Sam asked. Before either men could answer they all heard John yelling for Sammy. “That's my dad, I should go. You should let me go, if you let me go I wont say anything to anyone.”

“Holy shit!” the tall man said. “Your right it is me? Why the fuck would that witch send us back here?” Sam watched as both the men looked at each other. Sam could still hear his father yelling for him, he was gonna be in so much trouble.

“Listen guys, I don't know who you are but you have to let me go, if you know that I'm Sam Winchester then you know who my dad is and you know that he can be one tough son of a bitch and you don't want him mad at you, and he's gonna be mad if I tell him that you held a gun to my head.”

“Listen kiddo,” the shorter one said as he knelt down in front of him. “I know this is gonna sound weird but I'm your brother Dean, and this is, well, this is you from the future. A witch put a spell on us and we somehow ended up here.”

“Right like he's gonna believe us, hey kid we're you from the future.”

“A witch?” Sammy asked “You piss him off?” he asked towards the man that claimed to be Dean.

“Hey its not my fault, friggin' witches.” Older Dean said. Older Sam let go of younger Sam and moved back towards the table and started flipping through the book only Sam realized that it was actually his dads journal.

“That's my dads.” Sam said pointing towards the journal.

“Yeah, it is, well it's ours now but it was his. He gave it to us.” Dean explained.

“So you guys are me and Dean from the future?”

“Yup” Dean said with his usual smirk.

“Your me?” Sam asked pointing to the taller guy.

“Yup.”

“I'm taller than Dean? Dean always said I was gonna be a shrimp forever.”

“Yeah well Dean is just a lying jerk, we get super tall and can totally beat him up now.”

“REALLY!” Sammy asked with a big old grin, just the thought of beating up his big brother made him happy.

“NO, don't listen to him, he lies, you could never beat me up.” Dean complained and old Sam laughed. Then they heard the distinct bellow of on John Winchester, all three boys jumped.

“I better go or my dad is gonna have a cow. But maybe I could help you guys, Dean and I are pretty good at researching stuff.” Sam offered “Well I guess you guys already know that because your us. That's kinda confusing. But anyway I bet we could help you find a way to reverse the spell.”

“That's a good idea!” Old Sam said plopping down on the bed.

“I don't think so Sam.”

“Why not?” Both young and old Sam asked at the same time.

“That was weird.” Dean said looking at the two of them. “It's not a good idea because by the sounds of it dad is already pissed off, we don't want to drag our younger selves into something that could get them in trouble. I for one don't want to face dad right now, young or old version.”

Both Sam's nodded in agreement. “I guess your right, dad can be really scary but if Dean and I don't help you, you could be stuck here forever.”

“Doubt it.” Dean said as he reached for some left over pizza. “We've dealt with things like this before, We can handle ourselves. Why don't you run along back to your room, before dad comes in here and we all end up in trouble.”

“What kind of trouble could we get in? I'm twenty two, your twenty six, its not like dad can ground us or anything like that.”

“It’s dad we're talking about Sam, You remember dad right, shoot first ask questions later. If dad finds young Sammy here with us, two over grown men, he's liable to shoot us before we can even explain whats really going on.”

“Dean's right, and I hate to ever admit that Dean is right about anything. But I'm pretty sure my dad would shoot the two of you, if he found me in here.” Young Sammy explained; he was about to say more when there was a knock on the door. All three boys froze. There was another knock. Dean slowly got up and headed towards the door.

“Who is it?” Older Sam whispered as Dean looked through the peephole.

“It's me!” he said as he reached for the door nob. “Hey me how's it going?” Dean said as he grabbed his younger self and pulled him into the room before giving a quick glance around the parking lot to see if anyone had seen anything, when he was satisfied that no one was around he shut the door.

Young Dean saw Sam and grabbed him and pulled him closer. “Listen you goons, I don't know what's going on here but you better not have hurt my brother. You okay Sammy?”

“Don't call me Sammy!” Sammy grunted as he tried to pull himself away from his overprotective brother. “I'm fine, they didn't hurt me.”

“It's a good thing because if they had I would have totally ripped their lungs out.” Dean said as he slowly took in the seen in front of him. His eyes settled on his dads journal, he tightened his grip on Sam's arm. “Sammy you are so dead, if dad finds out that you took his journal and gave it to these two assholes he'll kick your butt into next year.”

“I didn't give them dad's journal.” Sam whined as he tried to get out of the death grip that his brother had on him. “It's their copy of dad's journal.” Dean made a face as Sam continued to explain. “It's us. Their us I mean, from the future, you pissed off a witch and got the both of us cursed into the past. I was gonna help them get back to the future.”

“I don't believe it, they can't be us, I mean I would never ever grow my hair that long.”

“He's not us kid, that's Sammy.” Dean said with his patented cocky grin. “And before you say he can't be Sammy he's so tall, I just gotta tell you you should get over it now, our little brother is taller than us, but we are way better looking and we are way better hunters.”

Before old Sam had a chance to argue there was a thunderous bellow from outside. “SAM WINCHESTER, you have five minutes to get your little butt inside this hotel room or you are gonna be one sorry little boy. I'm gonna go find your brother, you better be back in this room by the time I get back.” then there was the sound of the impala roaring to life and skidding out of the parking lot.

“SHIT!” both Dean's exclaimed. “Dad is pissed.”

“This talking in tandem is creeping me out.” young Sam said. “We better go, dad gets kinda, well you know how dad gets. But listen guys let us help you Dean and I can totally help you research and stuff, we can get you guys back to the future in no time.”

“Plus you can tell us all about the future. You gotta tell me about the ladies, please say there are ladies in our future.”

“They can't tell us about the future, Dean it could screw up the whole space time continuum.”

“You watch to much TV.” Dean said as he hurried his brother out the door. “I doubt you telling me about ladies is gonna cause a black hole to open up and swallow us whole. Anyway, Sammy and I gotta go but we'll come back and help you as soon as our dad, I mean Dad heads out tomorrow.”

Both Sams and Deans said goodbye to one another and then young Sam and Dean headed towards their room. “Dude how cool is that? I'm gonna be taller than you.”

“Yeah well your still gonna be a nerd, did you see how long your hair was? I swear Sammy if you wear your hair any longer than that I'm gonna cut it in your sleep.”

“You wouldn't.”

“You know I would, man I can't wait to get back and see them in the morning. They have to tell us about all the hunts they've been on and did you hear them a real life witch cursed them back here, how cool is that. That must totally mean that dad lets us hunt on our own and how cool is that.”

“It is pretty cool. I think the old me was even taller than dad is, dad is gonna freak out when I get taller than him.” Sammy said excitedly as he started to jump up and down on the bed.

“Yeah, yeah your tall blah blah, but your not taller than dad yet and he can still totally kick your ass so I suggest that you stop jumping up and down on the bed and get ready before dad comes back. From the sounds of him he's already pretty pissed.”

When John arrived back at the hotel room both boys were safe inside and both were sleeping. John wanted to yell but instead enjoyed the silence and sat down at the little table and started going over his research. He though momentarily about wishing that his boys were older so he didn't have to wait until they were both sleeping to get some peace and quiet.

John went to bed at about midnight and slept until 6, when he woke up he found Sam already awake sitting at the table looking through his journal. He cleared his throat and Sammy looked up at him, John gave him a warning look at the boy slowly closed the journal and gave a sheepish look towards his father. Then John heard the sound of the toilet flushing and saw Dean come out of the bathroom. “What the heck are you two doing up so early?”

“We were hungry so we were gonna go out and get breakfast.” Dean said with an alarming smile. John thought for sure that they were up to something but he was to tired to care.

“Sounds good, get me a large coffee and something with bacon.” Then he rolled back over and shut his eyes again. He heard the boys whispering and leaving the room. He figured they were up to something but they were both in good spirits so he wasn't gonna ruin it.

When he woke up again the clock said 9, there was a coffee sitting on his nightstand and some sort of breakfast sandwich sitting on the pillow next to his head. He looked up and both boys were sitting on their bed looking pretty glum. He couldn't fully hear what they were saying, but he caught the jest of it. It seemed like in the short time that they'd be staying there Sammy had made friends with someone at the hotel and when he went to visit them they were gone, the only weird thing is that Dean seemed pretty upset too. But when he asked the boys about it neither boy wanted to say anything.
