Summary: Life without seeing isn't easy. Sam has a lot to learn.
Sam thought he had become used to people touch him, if they not spoke at the same time for let him know they were there or wanted him to do something. It was the times that the touches were a brush he hated. He tried to avoid places where those was more common, like stores, streets or public places as when he felt a brush he so easily lost his count, or bearings.
If he had someone guide him it was not a big problem, it was when he was alone. He wondered if it was an accident or if the person wanted him something. The first times it had been confusing and he stopped a lot, but he thought he learned they more than most was accidental. It didn't help him to feel better or safer.
After all the years of hunting Sam know what was out there and he didn't like he could not see what was coming. His hearing, sense of smell was not enough to detect any demon or ill-disposed person in time which made him very uncomfortable.
Times he was out and he felt vulnerable, he knew how much a person trust on its seeing and how many things you had to have your eyes for. He had never thought to get into a situation like this, but now he really could not change anything. Sam needed to learn to trust his other senses and hope he would be spared from any more evils. In that he also needed to learn to relax enough to be able to get trough the day without jump at every brush.
