"the monster must exist within the Supernatural universe." By that you mean, you must PUT your monster within the SPN universe contextually, right, not that it must be made up out of things that are already in it (like crossing a rugaru with a bat)?
Exciting challenge, I can't wait! :D I think I have something... if I can stir my lazy stumps!

Sorry for the delayed reply, I've been away for a few days.
Your monster can be whatever you want him to be - a mash up of two or more Spn monsters or something entirely of your own imagination. By 'existing in the Spn universe' we mean it must interact with characters, places or plots from Supernatural. So, it could hunt Sam and Dean, for instance, or haunt the bunker, or be an additional invention of Gabriel in a Changing Channels type scenario.
