Intro Post: A Storm's Coming

It starts off with a crack of lightning down the endless road.

"Storm's on the way," said Sam.
"Feels like it," said Shadow. "Maybe it'll snow soon."
"Not that kind of storm. Bigger storm than that coming. I tell you, boy, you're better off in here than out on the street when the big storm comes."

*grins* I am TOTALLY down with this community, let me count the ways. I'm actually writing a fic right now (almost in an "as we speak" kind of way) that's greatly inspired by America Gods. Bring on the challenge, I'm totally signing up.

As soon as you're done with the fic, you're free to post it to the crossover recs post. :-)

The sign up post is active so please sign up!

Dude, American Gods rocked. I can so see how they'd cross over.

If I didn't have my hands so full atm, I'd totally start something.

Check out the sign up post for information on deadlines. The deadline for signing up ends April 21st but fics are not due until July 21st. Maybe that time frame could work for ya? ;-)

This community is a totally awesome idea. I adore supernatural and have read all of Neil Gaiman's stuff, except for Anansi boys which I have just bought.

Hurrah!!!!!!!!!

I'm not actually a writer but an avid reader. I will be here to cheer and squee.

Cake please!

Great minds think alike. I was just talking to a friend a few weeks ago about me dying to re-write BUABS as if Gaiman was commissioned to be the eps writer and go NC-17. I have a part done already. Unfortunately, my bunnies are more inspired by the feel of many Gaiman children stories rather than they are a strictly defined crossover with a particular book, so I do not think I can apply. As we are running out of Deaths here, I choose cake :)

Really, great comm, great idea.

Thank you. I tend to define a crossover as containing elements of Gaiman, so I think keeping with Gaiman's children book styles would count. By the way, if you have completed any SPN/Gaiman fic, you can feel free to post a link to the rec post and I'll be happy to add it to the list.

Hello.

I'm terribly sorry, but I don't think I'll be done in the next two days, as would be a good idea. May I have an extension until this Monday?

Thank you.
