Welcome Back postcards?

Feb 14, 2008 11:18

Okay, IF the strike is effectively over (it looks as if it is, but you never know, I think they still have to sign the deal officially?)..anyway, if it is over and everyone is back to work, how about sending Welcome Back/We Missed You/Glad You've Got Your Job Back postcards to the cast and crew in Vancouver?

Mods? What do you think?

Thank you for the info. :) The crew will have to be back before the boys, and all we need is someone in the office to accept mail :)

I thought I saw something somewhere about some people being back on set on Monday, but I can't for the life of me remember where I saw it or if it would have been reliable info... Makes sense someone would be though. :)

Baby, I am so IN! :-D I will send postcards, hell, I'll send flowers and candy, if I could only figure out how to do that in BC, lol! But seriously, yeah - I LOVE the idea of Welcome Back cards, hoped we'd be doing that.

So, let us know as soon as there's somebody up there to catch the mail, right? I'd hate for us to send postcards only to find them undeliverable because nobody's at that address, yet ....

YAY :)

Flowers would be cool ;) (interflora delivers anywhere, as far as I know)
As to candy, I suspect that food of any variety would go untouched for safety reasons.

There should be someone in the offices in the turn of a week or so, but diya is checking by email. :)

Bleh, yes, good point about food stuffs. So no food - but flowers!

Interflora? I'll have to look into that. Heh. Could be fun! Hey, I've got the phone number for the office up there, I think .... I had it. Maybe I'll give them a jingle in a week or so. *beams*

Postcards and flowers - now that could be fun! *bounces happily off, skippety-doo*

They do, they do, but you can also print your own, as long as it is postcard format :)

I've never made one before; is there a post or something explaining how to do it? I don't want to screw up my first (Well second, but the first postcard I ever sent Kripke's crew was one I got when I went to Lawrence last August :D) try.

Heavy card stock in the dimensions of 4.25"x6" or 6"x8" are treated the same as store bought cards, this much we know :)

So you only need to have heavy card stock in that format, and then many have drswn/printed their own card and glue that over the heavy card stock.
