phantomas posted if there was a compass, if you were a star about a week ago. It's a pretty cool universe concept she was setting up. This line: "An incredible amount of credits, the biggest cut partly coming by way of John Winchester - and no, Dean had never and would never ask where John procured them from, or how... " caught my attention. I don't know ( Read more... )

Ah, John. I love how he doesn't want other people to know just how far he's fallen, here. I also love just how far he's willing to go. Basically, I love John when he's being ruthless -- with himself as much as with his enemies -- and that's what you have here. The setting is just the icing on the cake!

All right, I pleased another John-girl. Keen gear.

I'm excited about the chance phantomas' AU allows... to cut right to the hardest edge of the character(s). I'm glad she let me do this. If I'm good, she might let me try a Krycek piece in her 'verse later.

Sorry I'm late replying to this. I fell a bit behind on things but I'm catching up this weekend. :)

Ohhhhh, what an intense and insightful peek into John's mindset. Store Dean's messages with the others. *clutches heart and wibbles* I really loved this. It's a raw and bloody portrait of a man doing whatever he has to do for his sons, even if it's hard, even if it's painful. I think you cut right to the heart of so much that makes John tick in any universe, the constant threads that are woven throughout his life: sacrifice, duty, family. He loves his boys and he's willing to do what it takes, even if it means they have to do without him in the short term. *sob*

Fantastic piece, CJ. Thanks so much for sharing it!

And I'm later answering you. Again with the amazing feedback. You're a doll.

Silvia laid out such an intriguing set up, I just had to take a quick poke at it. Taking the boys down to raw edges is my favourite thing, as you've seen. I'll go back to my universe for a while though and let her work on this one.

*blows a kiss*
