Medium: Acrylic paint on hard carton, brushes size 1 to 3 and my fingers (yes, I am a finger-painter)
Artist Notes: So, this is Sam as the Knight of swords. The shoulder armour is inspired by that or Prince Arthur in Merlin (although I edited it to fit my purposes). I decided to go away from the natural color pallet and take a mustard yellow to gray tone for Sam because it would fit well with the suite color. I added some green for the sword an blue for the Impala. The pose I made up off the top of my head.
This is Dark!Sam and I got inspirations from the two times we saw Sam's dark sides (without demonic possession or such involved that is): When Dean has died - which I hinted on by him leaning on the Impala which was his then and the fact that he is hurt but doesn't seem to give a damn. Or maybe I just wanted to show his tattoo ;) The red around the eyes vaguely reminds of Bloody Mary (where Sam showed the guilt he carried inside) but also is an artistic liberty to express just how fucked up the boy really is inside.
This is my first painting in a long time (and the scanner wasn't very nice to it), so I hope you like it.
Most fun part to do: Sam's face (and hair hehe).
