I scratched my brains, trying to figure how a character like Famine, who is all about excess and hunger, could possibly be generous towards any one. Then I remember, Famine’s gifts to Sam. Demons. Very dark indeed. I like that you have Sam unseen apart from his hand of death, and the way the pentacles on the floor are glowing. It seems kind of part of the symbolism of Sam turning Famine's gift into a weapon against evil.

Yes! The 3 pentacles in the blood are Famine's and the ones in the middle of the demon smoke are Sam's.
