That's all I was thinking while watching that terrible movie This Means War. He may have fuller lips, though, which is kind of unbelievable.

On the contrary, I think the massive eeyore stampede has given TPTB an indication of how their publicity was coming off and has, quite possibly, also led to them doing some tinkering with the content.

Part of the purpose of spoilers is to gauge fandom reaction. Letting fandom reaction influence things may be a overall a bad thing, a good thing, or a neutral thing, but it certainly happens.

So you're basically saying that a lot of loud screeching from a bunch of ESGs led to fanservice on their behalf by the PTB. Oh of course! Fanservice is fine as long as it isn't servicing Casfen. o_O

Tiny triumphs, little joys

Meme, I have just today figured out how to finish a WIP that's been kicking my ass since I changed course in it midway, a couple of months ago, after realised that where I'd originally planned to end it wasn't going to satisfy me.

I still have to write the thing, but now I have a direction, and it's making me eye the story with interest rather than trepidation.

Sometimes, it's the little things. What fannish delights/joys/successes have you recently encountered?

I got a really nice comment on a story I thought everyone had long forgotten. It made me happy, especially as my current writing isn't going well.

You know, sometimes I don't think to leave a comment when I've read something that's a year or so old or has a bunch of comments already - but that's a good reminder that it might make a difference to the writer today.
