The show is about as straight as Dean's legs.

It's a terrible show. It once was a fun, entertaining, sometimes-scary, sometimes-emotional genre show with some hot guys and a cool car. Now it's a pale imitation of itself and anyone still watching (including me) is a masochist.

This. Sometimes I seriously question why I still watch and then there will be a moment in an ep that reminds me of how much the show once meant to me.

Plus I want to keep up an understanding of how much Carver sucks so that when Dean disappears in front of Sam's eyes in the series finale and he merely skips off with the kid Amelia conveniently shows up with I can join in the witch hunt.

Really? I just did a search and she only got mentioned in the DCBB summaries thread, a creators thread back in July and the last salt-burn-porn discussion. Three times a year doesn't sound obsessed to me.

Castiel accidentally claimed Dean as his mate when he rescued him from Hell, so Castiel is Dean's mate, but because Castiel is an angel with no drive to mate anyone, Dean cannot be Castiel's. There are parts here and there I kinda like. I'm not so sure about "you see in black and white until you find your mate/are in their presence," which seems like it must've been borrowed from soul mate fic somewhere, and is a major part of the story. Mostly I'm hoping I don't have to watch Dean pine after Cas from seasons 4-8 before getting to any new developments. They're in S6; just have Robo!Sam spill the beans!

(Of course, now I want Robo!Sam a/b/o Sassy, except thinking about it further, it might be hard to find a scenario that didn't squick me, especially if the story adhered to the control aspects that pop up in a/b/o.)

One way might be to make Robo!Sam the omega. I mean, there's still the "omega ~seduces alpha with lure of his pheromones" business, but that gets played both ways, depending on the fic.

Will have to think on this further.

I'm not delighted with the return of Crowley for another season, but his capacity to be threatened by Kevin and mess with Kevin's head is a major plus side of the character.
