For some reason that title is giving me flashbacks to that awful Doctor Who finale where everyone believes in the Doctor. What if we have some cheesey thing where people and angels can take the power away from Metatron and ~~write their own stories~~ to the accompaniment of inspiring music?

I don't really know where this season is headed, but I can't think of how that finale title meshes with anything I can imagine. Truth be told, all I really want is for Sam and Dean to make up. And I suppose Dean actually wrapping his mind around the situation would be a miracle so...

Some really interesting non-major pairings cropping up, too, which I'm into. And some femslash, which I'm even MORE into.

I've seen it advertised on Tumblr a lot recently - maybe that's where the non J2 stuff's coming from?

It's always been an exchange quite friendly to rarepairs. I think unfortunately the end product fics often have less variety than the sign-ups, since it's harder to match with a whole bunch of options that have a very small set of people wanting/willing to do them, so people end up falling back on the safety juggernaut. But I see several people not even asking for J2 or S/D or D/C as one of their options, so we should get even more non-standard things this time around.

Some layouts hide the tags and/or notes. I actually think it was probably original art that got interpreted as Bela art. But anyways, it's a lovely piece and fitting regardless!

Like the other nonnies said it appears to be an original illustration. It's tagged as Dr. Suess and Oh The Places You Will Go. But I'm not sure how that applies to the picture either.

TWOP shutting down

Wow... kind of a shock. That was my go-to place when I first got into fandom, back when Spn first aired. I spent many hours there, reading comments seconds after episodes aired. Good times.

Same, this site really kicked off my fandom involvement. Haven't looked at the SPN forum since S4 (yes, spot the Sam girl) but I'll miss the others.

Though I think it deserves its own thread, really. Generally, I think meme might be more lively if more things got their own thread rather than getting buried in generic catch-all threads.

I wonder if there's somewhere we could email to urge the parent company to keep the archives publically viewable? I hate the idea of all that text being lost forever.

I never visited that place but I know it was important for old fandoms.
