It's been floating around in my head for a year or two. Something where part of Castiel's redemption in an alternate timeline involves rescuing Adam. Only of course Adam is in much the same position as Sam mentally. I'd handwave some of the torture so that he wasn't completely catatonic (possibly by saying Michael felt some shred of obligation to his vessel and protected him from the worst of it). When he comes back, the Winchesters don't know, and as part of some mutual shared healing, he and Cas end up in the countryside. Maybe with bees. Definitely with fresh bread. I think I actually talked about this anon with someone once, but the idea has never left me.

If you mean what would they have in common? Well I'm tempted to say they both had a sense of responsibility that got twisted, a sense of loyalty and some fairly profound trauma, and I think there would be a whole ton of things for them to connect on.

I'm pretty tame, because I have a hard time shipping implausible things, but I have always wanted Jo and Pamela to meet in Heaven. Actually, I could ship most of the dead women of supernatural in Heaven. Ellen/Mary Winchester? YES, both now and in the 70s or 80s. Sarah/Jess? SURE. Jess/Jo? AWESOME.

So pretty much, I ship Supernatural passing the Bechdel test. Naked.

I'll start! I really like the idea of Sam/Ghoul!Adam. Sometimes I watch 'Jump the Shark' and wonder if ghoul!Adam was actually touched by Sam's attempts to bond with him.

My idea for how this pairing would work is some kind of redemption scenario. Maybe ghoul!Adam's family is pretty terrible and after experiencing the genuine concern Sam and Dean had for him, he decides to betray his family to save them. He ends up joining them as the first ghoul!hunter, and somehow he and Sam fall into a weird relationship, complicated by the fact that he looks like Sam's dead brother (as well as the whole interspecies thing and ghoul!Adam having to eat corpses to survive).

I want to say Aaron/Golem and Golem/Castiel and Aaron/Golem/Castiel but that doesn't really feel all that implausible to me?

It has a presence up in almost every fandom now, it seems.
- I was wondering the other day, where did this trope originate?
- What about it appeals to people?
- Is there a deeper meaning than just kink behind its use in fic?
- If you read it, what got you into it and what does it mean for you as a fan?

I’m really curious about all of this and more.

I like the idea of guys being able to have their own children. I don't know where it originated but I remember so fandoms tried to ban mpreg, I think House was one of those.

I thought it was really ridiculous too. I don't have the details, I just remember some people talking in a comm about allowing certain types of mpreg for the House fandom. I believe they saw mpreg as something that had no foundation and medical accuracy so it didn't have a place in their fandom.
