That was so fun--I totally did not figure it out, which is rare and therefore double wonderful! YAY! Plus, YOWZA, with Sam's little commentary? NO ONE could resist that... :D

Oh man I just love the way you write Sam, even when it's not Sam, because let's face it there's no way that boy is going to have a happy life.

And Dean giving in and fucking him (yowza).

And the Trickster! <3

Thank you, glad you liked it.

Dean was a really hard sell, wasn't he?

Thanks for reading.

Heh, loved this:

he didn't want to have the conversation that started out, Sam's in a good mood, Bobby, what's wrong with him? That would just descend into depths of sarcasm he didn't need Bobby to provide.

and this

Sam's incessant smiling was giving him a headache, probably the glare off his damn teeth.

and this

I just took all that away for one day, pulled off all those chains that bind him down, let him walk upright for one single day. Is that so bad, Dean?"

Great finish! I actually read this at the Archive but it wouldn't let me post a comment for some reason.

Thanks for reading, and taking the time to find it to comment--I test commented at AO3 and it worked, so who knows what's up there.

I'm glad you enjoyed this, it seems so much of it's time which is not now, that's for sure. I kind of miss ambiguous Sam and tense Dean.

The build up was amazing, Sam unwinding and Dean having no clue. Really lovely!

Thank you so much. (You know I'd forgotten this story was even here--this was my first SPN fic!)
