They always knew it was a possibility. A slim one, but one all the same.
Honestly, by this point though, Sam had mostly given up on it ever happening.
But as he stands there, hiding in the small, crappy bathroom of some small crappy motel, staring at a positive pregnancy test, Sam honestly doesn’t know what the hell to do.
Sure, things have calmed down a lot - the Mark is gone and they somehow managed to fight back the darkness, Crowley is back in Hell and Cas is back in Heaven and Dean and Sam are back to normal, run-of-the-mill hunts. So really, of all the times it could have happened in the last nearly twenty years, this is by far the best case scenario. It means at least they’ll have to slow down, maybe even stop altogether - Sam doesn’t want to raise their child like they were raised - and Sam is perfectly okay with ( ... )

Sam still hums in agreement. They lay there just like that, tangled together like they have been their whole lives, for the longest time. The only sound is their breathing, the only movement is the slow, no doubt absentminded back and forth of Dean’s hand over Sam’s stomach. Sam can feel the slight tension that Dean was holding in his muscles fade, bit by bit, and he knows suddenly that it’s going to be okay, no matter what, it’s going to be okay, they’re going to be okay ( ... )

Dean grabs his hips and on the next downstroke, thrusts up. Hard. Their skin slaps together wetly and Sam lets out a ragged moan, nails biting into the meat of his brother’s shoulder. Yes. ThisDean meets him thrust for thrust, slamming their bodies together, headboard banging into the wall. And fuck it’s just what Sam needs - it’s been a while since they’ve had some sweaty, rough, headboard-banging sex. He’s pregnant not dying and the last thing he wants is to be treated like a delicate, fragile thing. That’s never been them ( ... )
