I do love a hurt Jared, and also love (in a masochistic kind of way, because it's damned depressing) a dystopia where the privileged class are oblivious regarding the wrong they do, particularly when they're so sure they're the good guys. This is perfect. <3

I had promised myself that I would not follow another WIP because the last 10 I did follow have never been completed, but you with your ability to paint this most beautiful depressing picture have sucked me in. This is a great story and I can't wait to see how it ends.

It might go slow, but unless the zombieapocalypse or something equally disturbing happens, this will be finished!

Oh, man, I'm so glad to see more of this. It hurts in the best way. Jensen thinking he knows what's best, like Jared isn't actually a person.

My heart broke at the intro, where Jared couldn't understand why the bee didn't want to survive inside during the winter, contrasted with Jared's willingness to freeze to death over being owned. *sniff*

(OP) This is awesome! I definitely love the way that Jensen fully feels like he is the good guy in this situation. And I always love me some hurt!Jared. Thanks for the update, can't wait for more!

Man, Jensen really is a dick of the highest order. He may think he's a good guy but he really isn't. It's appalling how Omegas aren't even thought of as human; they're one hundred percent slave. I dread to think what will happen when he finds out Jared is pregnant.

When he brought the food out into the living room Alpha was very pleased though and even praised him, because it smelled so good.

“Now, unless I want your company you’ll wait by the door until I’m done and then you eat in the kitchen, but I think we have a lot to talk about, so get yourself a plate and eat with me.”

Jared tried to keep the surprise of his face and headed back into the kitchen to fix himself a plate.
His former alpha would never have allowed him to eat at the table, Jared wasn’t even allowed under the table unless he was warming his cock, usually he had knelt in the corner of the room, waiting to clear the plates so he could eat the scraps
