They came too frequently and too vehemently to label Dean as beta. Additional his son belonged to a group of people, who didn't deal well with heats. Even as a teenager, when the passages the body prepared itself for reproduction at all cost, Dean had spend most of the time in bed high with fever or trying to run off the sexual energy. Rather unsuccessfully and before now they had been labeled as the low heats, because teenagers didn't run with the risk of getting pregnant ( ... )

Hi, not the OP or anything and I did enjoy this, but I'm a little confused (easily done!). It seems like the priority is Sam only for Dean, Michael and John. I didn't get the impression Michael even liked or respected Dean?

Hope this doesn't sound like me whining (I did love it). I would love it if this was continued.

Valid point, I think. In Michael's defense: he is looking at the pack as whole and knows that Dean's choice aren't based on solid reasoning now. It's a bit short, but Michael is testing Dean's reactions.

I liked it too. Fascinating take/version of an a/b/o world. I could totally see room for more, but understand if that's all you were comfortable with. I just liked the potential dynamic here with Michael and the Winchesters. Him mentoring and helping out with Sam on an alpha-to-alpha level, might avoid all the classic power struggles cannon Sam had growing up. Could be explained as John being a Beta who didn't 'get' what Sam needed as a growing alpha to make his teenage years go more smoothly. And I get Dean is on the verge of heat, so he's not in his right mind. But I think he's gonna like having someone to share his heat with. And I'm thinking it may be Dean's omega instincts (esp being so close to his first primary heat) that he wants Michael to 'prove' himself in some kind of way. Anyways, excuse my rambling. This was pretty good.
