“Kill you?” the two said in unison, which made things even more surreal.

“Why would we kill you?” Jared asked, such confusion on his face that Jensen couldn’t help but believe him. Jeff was another matter - he was unreadable underneath his mask.

“Uh… what else would you do with me?” He was really hoping they’d just kill him or let him go. Anything else Jensen could imagine was just too scary right now. “I mean, I know who you are.”

“Right. And we still don’t know you. Wanna help us here? Or…” The sentence didn’t go on, but it didn’t need to. The or we’ll make you lay heavy in the air ( ... )

Very cool! I liked the weaving of the two 'verses! I'd love to read more if you ever decide to continue, but this was great all by itself! Dark and painful and... very cool!

Thank you so much. I actually have some ideas about continuing, but I won't promise anything.

Poor Jason Jensen, that's not what life as a side-kick sould be. I loved this - it's a wonderful story and a great blend of worldbuilding and characters. I love how Jared puzzled things out, and how he wanted to help. And Jensen's great too, he's hurt but not completely broken.

I love every word of this and it works great as a whole story... but should you ever get the urge to do a sequel, I'd love to read it.

Hee... yes, that pesky name-thing... ;-)
Thank you so much for your comment, I'm not promising anything but I have some ideas for continuing this.

OMG
please tell me we're gonna see some kin of punishment, I literally closer the tab three times seeing Batman as the bad guy, but I had to know, I'm a sucker for anything Jason Todd related (and since Jensen is his voice) I Had to read it!!
very very good job, this is painful and dark and perfect

Hee... well. If (it's not a promise but a strong declaration of intent) I continue, there will certainly be punishment. I'm sorry that I villainized (is that a word?) Batman... I actually like that guy. But come on... Jason Todd's story reads like poster-story for something bad like that so I really couldn't resist.

Thanks for your words, happy you liked it

I'm a Batman fan and you have nothing to apologize for! Poor Jensen, it's going to be one long fight out of that horror! Very dark, but hopeful as well and I liked the brothers a lot! I hope you do continue this!

Oh thank you! I was a bit afraid to step on Batman-fans' toes here... I'm not making promises, but I would actually like to write more, so... yeah. Could happen.

If I ever planned to have kids, I'd offer you my firstborn for more of this!

Seriously, I've always loved the dark grittiness of Batman, but the Robin story has always felt very pedophiliac to me, because in the comics he's so damn young and it's just..yeah. This makes sense, in a horrible way.

So please, save him! I want to know everything because this is all I never knew I wanted.

Oh gosh, thanks! So glad that I don't want any kids either, so I won't expect one to sit on my doorstep in the near future ;-)

Right? I mean, for this I did some Jason-Todd-research (I've only watched "under the red hood", and most Batman-movies, so I'm not too up-to-date with the canon), but ...RIGHT? And all those little Robins were so alike! Weird and creepy....

I will save him - or well, much better: he will save himself and Jared and Jeff will be right along with him. I've got some more on my harddrive and I hate to make promises I might not keep but... well. Tentative "yes, there's more" here :-)

Glad you liked it.

This was utterly perfect, I love the idea of Jared and Jeff sharing a supervillain name, and Jared saving his older brother. And since I'm pretty sure I'm the OP of this, I just wanted to thank you loads for writing it. Would definitely not mind seeing more in this verse.
