Jensen's family is high society and he grew up with all the privileges that come with that. His father expects Jensen to get into politics, become a governor or senator, mate with an omega from a powerful family.

Jared comes from a modest family background. He is in debt and has to work two jobs to pay for his school bills, and apartment. All that changes after he meets Jensen.
