Oh, this is so lovely. I love, love, love how you picked at pieces from the original and wrote a sequel that feels so undeniably true to the original premise. Of course Dean would train them all, and I love how Jake becomes more like himself after he regains his memories.

And that end bit, with the hug, gah, it feels like such a wonderful buildup.

Plus, this. This was so exactly what I was going for in the original:

how Dean himself had walked straight into the lake with his pockets full of stones because he hadn’t been able to think of another way to leave.

You just nailed it. Hands down.

Oh god, this is just as spooky and eerie as the original, how you have no idea what's going on at first, then it all falls into place to create this desolate picture, so bravo! Beautiful remix!

Oh wow. I love this continuation of the original story. Its so much the same but different at the same time. It really is excellent. I love the idea of an army, of Dean leading it. Great job!
