J2 Fic Recs: Down-on-their-luck boys....

This rec post basically contains fics where the Js find themselves in circumstances that have them turning to hooking or left them homeless. And one about alcoholism. Probably a weird collection, but I couldn’t decide ;).
Hooker!fic:
A little less conversation by girl-wonder Not rated by the author, but definitely Adult. ~6 K
Summary: The not-hooker hooker fic.
This is NOT your usual type of hooker!fic. It's brutal in how realistic it is and there’s NOT a happily ever after. I didn’t know that when I first read it and it pretty much broke my heart. D:
Still: It’s awesome, the writing is great and if you feel like you can stand to get your heart crushed a little, by all means: GO READ! (And of course you can always be like me, put your fingers in your ears, humm and pretend there’s a sequel that fixes everything.)

Summary: Looking for a distraction, rich lawyer!Jared picks up younger hustler!Jensen.
I’m usually not one for dark or evil boys, but this version of asshole!Jared is really kinda awesome :D. There’s two sequels that explore their relationship further and while it definitely isn’t a happy verse it ends on a hopeful note. (Also? HOT!!)

Summary: One lonely evening, Jensen decides to hire a hooker. When Jared arrives, it doesn’t turn into what either of them expected.
Finally a schmoopy rec :). So I guess it doesn’t fit the theme 100 %, but Jared did start hooking because he needed money, and I feel like I need to provide a pick-me-up fic *g*. I love how they both try to keep it professional, but just can’t.

Summary: Jared Padalecki had his plan all carefully laid out - Fuck the guy, keep him facing the cameras, then collect the money and run like hell. It was a simple job really. He wasn't too worried. And they were going to pay him so well...
Jensen Ackles prided himself for his excellent judgment of truth and character. It had served him well so far, and he had no reasons to doubt otherwise. So when Jensen meets Jared, he thinks he has him all figured out...
BigBang fic with a really cool plot, evil villains and heaps of hurt!Jared. This had me on the edge of my seat.

Summary: Spring 1994. When a silver Lexus pulls up to the curb sixteen-year-old Jensen thinks it’s just another job, thinks he’ll crawl out of the backseat with someone’s taste in his mouth, a wad of bills in his hands and another memory he doesn’t want. He thinks he’ll return to his silent and trusting Jared with someone else’s scent on his skin and tomorrow’s meal in his pocket. It’s just a job, just another job…
One of my favorite BB fics from last year! I hardly ever cry when reading, but this did it. The story is realistic without being melodramatic, and the writing is stellar. Definitely not to be missed if you like h/c fics! (I've read it twice already)

Summary: When Jensen Ackles finds himself lost on Hollywood, he never imagined his life would be turned around by a sweet but down on his luck hooker named Jared Padalecki. (Based on Pretty Woman)
Yay Pretty Woman :D. Come on, who doesn’t love that movie? And this is the perfect fic to go with it... *hugs it*

Summary: When he can't find any acting work, Jared takes a job as driver and bodyguard to Jensen, who is an extremely expensive prostitute with a bad habit of attracting crazy people.

Five ways Jensen met Jared at the mall during the holiday season by chase-acow Rating: NC-17, ~8 K
Summary: It doesn't matter if Jensen is homeless, ten years old, a jerk, a daddy, or an actor - he and Jared are made for each other.
Only the first of the 5 fics fits the theme, but whatever :)! Though… homeless!Jensen definitely IS my favorite of the five. Really pulls at my heart strings... &hearts
And it's got a really awesome remix that explores the thought of “What if the stories were linked?”:
The Kindness of Strangers by nightporters Rating: PG-13, ~6 K
And while we’re on the topic of homeless Jensen:
In from the cold by ladyjanelly Rating: R, ...long ^^
One thing about working in a free clinic, Jared thinks, is that work is never boring. You never know what'll come in from the cold on a night like this.
I was probably the last person in the whole fandom to read this, but have a rec anyway! Cause... OMG, so good!! :D

A short and schmoopy homeless!Jared ficlet. One of longsufferingly's many awesome Help_Haiti fics. She may be the only one able to pull off homelessness!schmoop ^^. (There’s three fics in this post, homeless!Jared is the first).

Summary: AU RPS that starts when season three of Supernatural ends.
Jensen leaves his stealing/cheating boyfriend right before he and Jared go their separate ways for the summer to film movies (only he doesn’t know that Jared knows that it was his boyfriend, and not just a room mate). Jared meanwhile is worried, which lands him in a world of problems with Sandy and Jensen’s life basically just goes for a tail spin...
This is a really gripping fic that deals (I think) very realistically with alcoholism. I was glued to the screen all the way through.
