October Fan Art Round-Up

The month of October was very rich fandom wise! You can tell the show is back on our screens!
Artists answered the important questions in their art this month like, "What to wear when you are an angel?", "What happened to poor Cas in Purgatory?", "How big was Dean's smile when he hugged Cas?" and "What did Sam Winchester do during this past year?".
Season 8 was of course a great inspiration but challenges on LJ provided a lot of beautiful things to see too, particularly thanks to the Kamikaze Remix Challenge, the DCBB and the SDMB! I know, I know, I am reccing you the whole Internet here but it's not my fault if there were so many amazing art posts this month (we are not gonna complain, are we?). There were more, far MORE, it took me ages to make up my mind! The deancasbigbang and samdean_otp artists were amazing this year, so if you have the time, take a minute to browse by yourself, otherwise, you are gonna miss great art works like Dean4 by hippivickyx. Finally, our little tutorial corner that will be very "beginner friendly" and will focus on basics this month. Ammosart gathered great tips and tutorials on how to draw comic style. Very useful for beginners too, this Composition for dummies post, this tutorial about blending, this one about how to create a more unified color palette, and this post about how to draw kisses when you are a slash artist.
If you prefer animation, you can take a look at this series of tutorials about gifs.
A little bit more advanced but still interesting Ren-ne-rei's PS brush tutorial and something that will help you a lot with your Supernatural fan art, a pattern generator! Why? Have you seen the wallpapers in the Winchesters motel rooms? Ok, I think you got it!
