Hi, I'm poisontaster. I'd like to extend a huge thanks to ash48 and lazy_daze for inviting me and for their remarkable patience with me; it's a real honor to be included with so many other really great authors

I love when anyone reads one of my stories (obvs, who doesn't??) but there's a real special thrill in knowing or thinking I was someone's "first" in some way.. Thank you!
And I agree, SPN fandom is absolutely the greatest! \0/
Hi you! My question is a step along an earlier question, but if you could rework one of your earlier stories (with the handwaving that it would magically spring from brain to screen) which one would it be, and what do you think you did or did not address then that you might be better able to now?
Also, if you went back to Heart Verse I would so, so send you cookies. Or flowers. Or something.
I have some original fiction on my journal; some ficlets, some snippets, a couple short stories, but I don't have anything published at this point. I've been working in that direction for a few years now, but writing has been super hard since the cancer and so I have...oh, about four or five novels in various states of completion. I'm still working, though!
And believe me, when/if I do publish something? I will be trumpeting it from the rooftops, as well as begging all my friends to buy it! :)
loved, loved A Kept Boy and Sundown. I still regularly check on the "What We Keep" journal hoping that someone will add to it. (waiting oh so patiently) I do wish that Sundown could have lasted longer but some of the contributors got a bit off track with Mary Sues. I always wondered why there wasn't more females in that stable.
I havent' gotten around to reading a couple of them. i've got them saved on my hard drive and want to get around to them one of these days. I've got to load them onto my ipad.
Heh. And I meant to put something about being the co-mod for kamikazeremix and I completely spaced it.
The thing is...fanfic IS remixing. It's taking a known story (even if, in an 'active' fandom, the ENTIRE story isn't known) and putting your own spin on it. Choosing what to bring forward (a minor character, the chemistry between two characters who otherwise are not together, an alternate time line or a plot point that got dropped too quickly); choosing what perspective to look through (any Very Secret Diaries type story); choosing to take the characters and transplant them to an entirely new situation while keeping the "core" of whatever it is that makes them them (AUs, crossovers & fusions). All fanfic is, by it's nature, remixing

What I would love to know is whether any of your original fic is published/up on the net, and if so, where can I find it? *grabbyhands*
And just so you know, I would totally be willing to hand over cold, hard cash for anything you should choose to publish in the future...

Talk about remixing. You've done a lot of it, sponsored it...what draws you to it?
What's the remix(es) you're most proud of?
What's the remix(es) you've received of your own work and absolutely adore?
