Caring!John and mental illness/self-harm
So, I just read this: shyriann.livejournal.com/34725.html#cutid1 and now I am seriously in the mood for something with John comforting Dean for whatever reason. Not like beating people up for him or anything, just being soothing. Basically, I just want to see John being a caring dad.
Also, completely unrelated to the above request, I want mental illness fic. Preferably bipolar disorder, but I've already read See:Life and Out Of All The Hours and I can't imagine there are that many in the fandom. Maybe schizophrenia or autism?
The only requirements are: No supernatural cause, not ones that are recced often (because I already know the usuals, The Three Faces of Jared, The United States Of Jensen, Underneath The Weight Of It All, Nowhere To Run, JensenInside, A Million Points Of Light, everything by felisblanco and then some) and no depressed-and-in-a-mental-hospital-because-the-love-of-my-life-left fic. Is there anything out there regarding personality disorders maybe (since Dean is pretty BPD)
And anything involving self-harm or ED. Again, not because of something supernatural, and this preferably J2.
