Sorry, I've been sick all week, so no dancing for me. As for beer, you've been to Twain's already (yummy) but we should really try to do the Sweetwater Brewery tour. They have all their usual stuff plus a special Brewers Vat or something that's whatever the brewmeister feels like making. Oooo, they've opened up the tours to Wed, Thu and Fri!! You can scope out their site, but it's a flash nightmare: sweetwaterbrew.com I say we try it out one friday! :-)

I've actually been to the Sweetwater brewery tour. Aside from all the hot young lasses just begging to be liberated from the confines of their cardboard frat boy companions, it didn't offer me very much. I'm not really a fan of any of their brews (aside from the Happy Ending, of course), and once you've seen on e brewery tour, you've pretty much seen them all.

I'd still be interested in going again, though. I mean, after all, it is still fresh beer, and the brewer's choice sound interesting enough. How does next Friday sound, or is that too close to a busy Saturday for you?

Terrapin's India Brown and its Rye have recently become two of my favorite local(ish) brews.

Our local pub has a beer-tasting every Thursday and these are some of the ones I've tried that I thought were pretty tasty. :D

Hofbrau Hefe-Weisse
Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse
Paulaner Hefe-Weissbier Naturtrub
Shiner Hefe-Weizen
Shiner Kosmos
Shiner Bohemian Black Lager
Shiner Bock
Shiner Blonde
Abita Strawberry
Unibroue Terrible
Unibroue La Fin du Monde
Unibroue Trois Pistoles
Flying Dog In-Heat Wheat (Hefe-Weisse)
Flying Dog Doggie Style Classic Pale Ale
Flying Dog Gonzo Imperial Porter
Flying Dog Old Scratch Amber Lager

And then my mind blanks. :D

I can certainly see where your tastes lie.

I'm familiar with all of those brews, except the Gonzo, I don't think I've ever tried that one. White/Wheat beers are not my favorite, and I really have to be in the mood for them, which is rare.

This all reminds me... I need to go to the beer store.
