Do you love film noir? I want recommendations. I've got a list from IMDB. I don't trust that list at all.

From the list, I've seen The Maltese Falcon, Ace in the Hole, Notorious and Strangers in a Train. All of these are good movies.

Did they stop making film noir after the 50s?! check out Dark City. and The Killing and Rififi from that list.

If it's the noirish angles, lighting, shadows that you are interested in try: The Third Man, Touch of Evil, The Big Combo. The first one was set in post-war Vienna and the camera angles, the wet-narrow-streets-of-cobbled-stone and the lighting make for an unforgettable combination. Touch of Evil is Orson Welles and again amazing camera and lightwork. The last one is less know; cinematographed by John Alton who did a lot of original technical work on Noir (I think there's also a book by him on the subject.)

Also, try Blade Runner (though, I suppose I saw it in Sarai so you must have too... :).
