Look at this gorgeous girl, Priyanka Chopra, Bollywood action woman, romantic heroine and she's won an award for best villain! But I took one look at her, that attitude, and thought... AU and Mirror T'Pring! BTW, I don't think of T'Pring as a baddie.

Great choice of character and nice job too, very natural and clean. I look forward to seeing what you do next! Are you using PS?

You realize you are now doomed! You will fall foul of the time altering features of doing photo-manipulations (lets not even talk about digital painting)...no time appears to pass, yet whole days disappear.

(Have you thought of entering an icon challenge like http://trekicontest.livejournal.com/. there is a weekly topic and you can do up to 4 icon...but one it fine too. icons are like visual drabbles!)

Thanks, that means a lot from you :-) I know, it took ages :-( Time I should have been using to write a paper. I'm using Gimp, a Unix image editing software. It took a wee bit of getting used to. The icon challenge sounds good but will have to wait till this semester ends. I have one more, I will post her today, If I can.

I know I am strange but love learning computer programs. At present I am with InDesign (magazine layout "Loss" with Cats was the first actual product)I'm also just flirting with Illustrator. I have never used Gimp as I had PS....but I have watched some Gimp tutorials because many of the effects can be duplicated in PS. Gimp has some great filters and dispersion effects. Time has no meaning when it comes to digital art, but you may find , like I have , that fan art gets fewer comments than fanfic despite taking as long. I think folk just do not know how to comment so they don't. I make it my mission to comment on all art I see, there is something of note in everything if you take the time to look. I will stop rabbiting and just say...I look forward to that next pic.

LJ is giving grief again, for some reason it no longer sends me email update of some sites I subscribe to GAH!

PS. Even if you can't do icons yet you could vote, they get short on votes hint, hint....

Hiya, I'm polar.realm on fanfiction.net, just dropping by to say that these T'Pring photomanips are both fantastic. Priyanka Chopra suits the character very well in both appearance and attitude, and I don't know much about manips, but these both look very skillfully done and believable, although I think this first one is my favorite. Lovely work.

Thank you so much, I agree Priyanka's attitude in the first one is very T'Pring - her eyes are something else. I liked the second one because I thought her headgear was very TOS old school. Thank you for the kind words. x
