You've written a lovely set-up for this story and I can't wait to see where you take it in the next chapter . I had to laugh at the list of Spock's injuries. When we watch episodic TV we barely notice the accumulation of bumps and bruises that our heroes endure. I also wanted to commend you on how well you captured the tone of the interaction between Bones and Spock.

Awww, thanks. I just love Bones, he is such a total softie despite his grumpiness. It did seem in The Apple that poor Spock was hurt a lot.
