Vegas!
This is inside the Mandalay Bay, a big resort/hotel/casino. It's VI Lenin, and it wasn't always headless--there was apparently an outrage at a seeming "tribute" to the evil-communist-pinko, so they chopped his head of to appease the masses. Now it's just kind of amusing and sad.
The single most "Vegas" thing I saw--we were in a mall, and suddenly out of the floor rose Santa in a vintage red Thunderbird, surrounded by "Elves", which strangely resembled the Rockettes clad in scanty red oufits. They danced and sung, and it was marvelous.
The second most "Vegas" thing I saw, a blonde-haired, blue-eyed bride in this huge dress, walking into the lobby of the Venetian, trailed by an entire wedding party.
The largest gold nugget on public display in the world, it weighs upwards of 60 pounds. that's a lot of gold, my friends. a lot.
After Vegas!
