If anybody knows how to make a harddrive realize that it is a slave, and not master, even when its jumper is set to slave, and it's on the slave part of the IDE cable? Cause my 120 is being a selfish bastard, in that respect.

David says: Try another IDE cable. Check and make sure that it's the correct jumper for the slave. Check the CMOS settings and check to see if the master is set to have a slave.

didn't work, but it's probably a good thing, seeing as it has a virus on it that infects the BIOS and does very naughty things...
