Matt and I saw it last night. I thought it was really lovely. It was also cool seeing Joe Cocker, even though I'm pretty sure that something's wrong with him =/. And I'm not a fan of Eddie Izzard. But that's okay. I really enjoyed it. The theatre was packed when we saw it, which was odd because it's been out for a while. We had to drive to San Luis to see it. I thought Evan Rachel Wood had a really pretty voice. And yes Jim Sturgess is really handsome. <3. I just really liked how some of the songs seemed to be completely reimagined and redefined. What was your favorite part? I loved "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" I thought it was a clever interpretation. I also thought "Because" was beautiful. A lot of the things brought tears to my eyes. I can't explain why, really. It just made me emotional. I liked how they performed at the end, on top of the Strawberry Jamz building--kind of a neat homage to the Beatles' last performance on top of Apple Studios.

I loved the whole thing so much. A lot of it made me really emotional too. I felt a little crazy, but I went to see it with Erin and she was the same way, so I felt less dumb.
I loved the I Want You part, too. And I Love Love LOVVVVVVED the I Am The Walrus part. It was so trippy and I thought that Bono did a great job as Dr. Robert.
How can you not like Eddie Izzard? He's great!
I loved the part too where Jude was trying to draw the apple and he got frustrated with it and cut it in half....it was brilliantly subtle.
